During the week I emailed my friend with a tonne of links to things I had my eye on. She replied with her thoughts on this and that and also told me how much she loves it when I send her this sort of email. It made me think that maybe it would make a fun thing to share with you here. Hope you have nice things planned for the weekend. Next weekend my sister and parents are coming to hangout with William while we head off for a weekend of sleeping, wine and wondering what we used to do with all our spare time! So this weekend will be getting things together for that and making sure we enjoy some quality time. x

Quite like this fruit ‘umbrella’ idea. William loved having access to my Mum and Dad’s fruit bowl and this one isn’t too big so we wouldn’t have too much out at any one time.
Thinking this wine coaster might make a good gift for some friends of ours. Or pickle forks?

Really not liking the orange/white light fitting we’ve put up in the dinning room – it’s a ‘from the garage, was originally from our Bedford flat’ item. Although we could use John Lewis vouchers and get this canvas/wooden number or this copper offering which is tempting as it’s a copper light fitting I’ve been envisaging for the dining room since the get go. And I just found this which would look awesome with a decorative lamp fitted.
Our sofa creaks, badly, if you sit on the middle seat. Which is worrying because it’s coming from where the sofa and chaise lounge attach. We could tweak and tighten but ultimately that sofa came from an Ikea bargain corner 6 years ago. I’m not sure it owes us anything!
