What have you got planned for this weekend? Hopefully I can trick myself into being super productive with extra fun time as my reward as I really need to spend some time getting our home a little more organised as we are in that ‘worse before it gets better’ stage and it’s pretty horrific! But I am also desperate to make the most of our new paddling pool, maybe try out some sensory play activities and my body is craving a BBQ with good company, the type that go on so late you need a blanket to fight off the evening chill. I’m also hoping to get a few blog posts prepped. One of my biggest issues is overthinking what I write and either writing nothing or massive essay like posts {example 1} {example 2} {example 3}
Lemon and/or lime water have been staples this week. According to Chinese medicine you shouldn’t drink cold water, it’s bad for your chi. Really want to try these ideas for naturally flavoured water.
Why is it that I always seem to sleep a trillion bajillion times better when I have clean sheets than every other night? Fresh, crisp clean sheets are a top priority!
How has it taken me so long to download the David Guetta’s albums are {this and that}!?!! I feel like a bit of a rockstar listening to them loudly and ’rocking out’ {ok so more like gently bopping my head}.
There are a few finishing touches and extra organising needed for William’s room. I’m excited to hang out in his new room this weekend and make use of the reading nook I’ve created for him.
A regular favourite lazy breakfast is an apple and nut butter wrap, so many of you have asked for the wrap recipe and Laura has now shared it on her blog! I like to fry off the apples off in a little coconut oil and cinnamon to make it feel extra special.
Quite fancying a refocus to project sparkle to work through until December. I find having a list of goals greatly increases my likelihood to achieve at least half of what I want to! Anyone else feel they need to regroup and push on with their goals?
